well he was quite twangy, in my book twang=gay :innocent:
That's not all he's spouting. He's doing a hell of a lot more than that, and in irresponsible way.
Sorry, Eli...think he is doing drama to make a point. Just my thought.

The drama is overwhelming the point.
Saying the President is prejudiced to white culture is beyond personal reponsibility or doing drama to make a point about personal responsibility.
It's sort of how I feel hyperbole. Hyperbole is used to help make points, but you can't use hyperbole all the time because then you're making a different point.
If you use to much drama or hyperbole, you're beyond making the lower point.

You may be correct, but as a lawyer, you should know that it's how you make your point.

Nope. In my experience as a litigation lawyer, I've determined it's better to keep the drama and hyperbole to a minimum. If you rely on it to anywhere near the that Beck does, you lose credibility with judges, arbitrators, juries, etc.
Hyperbole and drama are used sparingly. You win through the interpretation of legal argument and the facts.

Thanks, Eli. Really don't want to get into a fight with you. I get into enough discussions with my lawyer son. However, he is a conservative working for a company in Denver that represents suits against big companies.

I'm not saying this as a conservative/liberal thing. There's beeh plenty of overused hyperbole and drama by both sides as the health care. And it drives me nuts.

Think it is but don't want to go there. Let's leave it alone. Thanks.
