Is this political correctness gone too far? After all there are many offensive costumes like the pregnant nun for example. Are we going to ban everything thats deemed "offensive" to a particular group?

It's not a ban. Target decided not to sell it. I think you'll be hard-pressed to find any of the other so-called "offensive" costumes at Target.

i dislike their lack of balls. don't sell it, pull it, either is fine, but the whole "never intended to sell the outfit but included it in its online offerings by mistake." is bullshit back-tracking.

The costume, posted on Target's web site, features the mask of an alien with a green card and an orange jumpsuit with "illegal alien" written across the front.

A green card wouldn't make them "illegal".

As for the story, whatever. If they didn't want to sell it, they have every right too. The fact it was on the website kind of confuses me. Can you buy it there and have it shipped, or did they pull it from the site?

if I was a real life Illegal Alien, who was being pursued by Immigration, I would buy one of these costumes and wear it all the time. This way whenever anyone saw me they would just think I was someone in a really good costume on the way to a party or something
