Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's a really long set-up for a bit I have in mind.

or it's jealousy.

I believe that at one time Dr. Steve and Dr. Kaku were bright, young physics students at a top university. They were vying for a research grant...and the love of the same young woman.

Dr. Kaku not only received the grant, but also the affections of said lady.

Dejected and bitter, Steve left the university to pursue a career in the medicinal arts, vowing revenge on the man who shattered his academic and romantic dreams.

At least that's how I see it.

Is Latveria involved in this at all?

Still, very poetic and may be based on truth.

Dr. Steve and Kaku trained under the same master. One day Kaku killed their master and escaped into the night. Dr. Steve vowed revenge and hunts him, always just one small step behind Kaku.

But one day, one day Dr. Steve will corner Kaku. With nowhere left to run, they will have one last, glorious battle...

TO THE DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Steve makes the thread titles.

Go easy on him...he's a doctor not a comedian!

It works if you mispronounce his last name, which is fun, too.

I think Dr. Steve mainly has a problem with the fact that Dr. Kaku doesn't ever break his genius talking to idiots role. Dr. Kaku has gotten very repetative. I have read two of his books and the earlier one "Hyperspace" is engaging and informative. His most recent work "Physics of the Impossible" is a rehash of Hyperspace with very even more dumbing down of the material. Dr. Kaku is a professor so he obviously he teaches so he has just gotten into a major rut of teaching the same concepts year after year to a less and less educated society. I think this is the crux of what irritates Dr. Steve the most. Dr. Kaku has no joy for sharing information anymore he just repeats the same thing again and again in the same dull monotone.

He definitely has that manner of a teacher who latches onto a single point and then repeats it over and over until you want to blow your brains out. Like when O&A asked him about the BP oil spill and every answer was prefaced with "You see, what works at 200 feet, doesn't work at 5000 feet...". That said, I still find him entertaining. Especially when there's O&A around to mock him.

We came THIS CLOSE to having him on Weird Medicine LIVE this year. Oh well, the "Feud" will have to go on for another 12 months.
