Brett Favre is bigger than the game.

I was very much annoyed with all the Favre fake retirements. But I have to admit, yesterdays game was as much fun as watching Micheal Jorden's return.
This guy is 40 and may be one of the best quarterbacks in the league (Sorry New Orleans fans). The Vikings are the real deal.

I'll agree that Rivera is greater than any other reliever after 1985, but let's not play this "greatest reliever ever" shit either.

The position has evolved greatly into the role of the one-inning specialist, versus a reliever like Rollie Fingers who would regularly pitch 2 or 3 innings.

I dunno if it is still valid, but I always felt if you were in a strange town, ask a cop and you get where good cheap local food was.

I will give you that the early relievers- Fingers, Sutter, Gossage - were pitching in a different game, although I believe (but could obviously never prove it) that Mariano coulda pitched then as well.

If Rivera was to pitch in a different era he would've needed to develop another pitch or two. It would be insane to pitch three innings without it.

SuperDuper in Bridgeport is delicious. Also check out Swanky Franks in Norwalk off exit 14 on 95.

I go to Glenwood in Hamden, Blackie's in Cheshire, or Guida's in Middletown.

Excuse Trevor Hoffman for not being purchased by the NY Yankees. With a career of 12 games in the post season, Hoffman has 2 bad games.

This Rivera is untouchable shit is boring.

just look at the career leaders in adjusted era. It's ridiculous how far Mariano is ahead of the number two guy, Pedro.

He just mentioned Super Duper Weenie in Fairfield. I've never been there: I'm a Glenwood man (Hamden).

Was that the place that was on Best Thing I Ever Ate? They had a segment where they had a female chef go to a place in the Fairfield area and had a hot dog.

I can't think of a race lower on the totem pole than gingers.

They are the ground underneath the totem pole.

I'm personally sick of how affirmative action allows unqualified gingers to get good jobs that qualified normal haired people should be getting.

aren't the more a mutation than a race?..
