I thought something similar. Fez was clearly angry at ESD all day, but wouldn't say why. Ron talked about it pulling teeth.

As someone who is pretty much out of the loop on this type of drama, I do recall that Fred was in studio a little over a year ago when Jeff called in. Fred had just called someone (vamessenger?) a murderer for putting his dog to sleep. I guess Jeff took exception to this and called Fred out on it. When in studio that day, Fred repeated "I used to like the fucking guy" in reference to Jeff. That's in stark contrast to today when he said he never liked Jeff.
