M. Night Shyalaman: But what if Al Qaeda, it turns out, is the group being terrorized? By aliens?
General: No- No. That's not an idea, that's a twist. We need ideas.
M. Night Shyalaman: How about we make everyone think that terrorists attacked us? But really, we were all already dead.

I always like movies like this but I wonder about the director choice, seems odd.

Would you believe that the last airbender is actually in an enclosed village where everyone believes its the 1800s but really its present day?

i actually have seen the entire show, via babysitting for almost 4 dollars a kid per hour (yeah, can't believe that horseshit now, either). the show actually is very, very interesting, has a great plot, and good character depth.

I'm with you there. I don't question the material, and I don't mind the director, but the two together just seem odd. Perhaps he is hoping to break away from the twist itself and do something more main stream, kind of like the movie where bushes were killing people. Still, it's like announcing a remake of Debbie Does Dallas directed by Stanley Kubrick.
By the way, nice appearance the other day Paul O, always like hearing from you.
