West Haven is paradise compared to Bridgeport or Hartford...or EAST Haven which is like that Jersey Shore show.

I don't consider Hartford to be a part of Ct because of the filth there. You think Ct and you think white, that place is just scary any time of the day and when a rental car company warns you of an entire city you heed the warnings.

CT is so weird. It's so lily white and rich in places, but the slums are some of the worst I've ever seen.

Where I live SE of Houston it is also weird like that. We have multi-million dollar homes, good middle class homes in the 180 to 400 range, and you go 5 miles and you have run down places you could pick up for 35. The only nice thing is that there are geographical lines of separation so it gives the perception of nice lily white.

Everyone thanks for the kind words hard to believe it will be 14 months from losing my last job to getting this one

I have spent the last week filling out paperwork upon paperwork, but the background check came through a ok.

And sorry G, for not getting back, but i will be starting on Jan 11 and moving up there on the 9th.

So after that I will be at the first ron and fez event after that date.

So im staying in Shelton CT at a hotel for the next 3 months (had to to get the $44/night rate) so i can take time looking for a place to live.

What the hell is with the 55mph on 95?

Got here at night so i havent really driven around much i will do that tomorrow, but have seen a bunch of restaurants and places like that on food network that are highly recomended and they have a bunch of parks up here it seems.

So i get my first paycheck on the 22nd, so any day after that I am at the first event for the board

Don't EVER take 95 if you can avoid it. Take the Merritt Parkway instead. There's an exit right at Sikorsky.
