PAul O's about to discuss it, what do you consider the worst movies of this year?

Two first choices:
* 13 Ghosts
* Tomcats

Apocalypse Now Redux.

Awful. I saw it in France because it was at the Cannes film festival this year. With the added footage, it seemed to last just under 7 hours.

well Apoc. Now Redux is 9 hours long. Honestly, it was worth seeing just to see it on the big screen but the French plantation scene was so useless it angered me

Actually, I'd never seen the original, watch-in-one-sitting Apocalypse Now, so I don't know which scenes were added. I have suspicions, though; I'm thinking probably the camp full of stoners, with the Playboy Bunnies screwing everyone (reminiscent of the Lotus Eaters of the Odyssey) were added. Ike?

Apocalypse now I'm not sujre the 'stoner' thing you mean but the Playmate scene was cut from the original, Kurtz reading from Time magazine was cut, the French plantation scene of awfulness was cut. a couple of quick clips.

Paul O is right. Freddy Got Fingered was supposed to be bad and that's why it was made. Just see the "Why is this moving going to fucking end" sign.

Rat Race was passable because of Cleese, Green and especially Lovitz. The ending was complete shit though as was Whoopie Goldberg adn pretty much the rest of the cast.

I have to aggree with Dragon,
PLANET OF THE APES was the
worst considering all the hype
and money involved.
Great makeup and had
potential, but very
disappointing.

I have to say Out Cold , what a piece of crap!! I believe in staying with a movie till the end, but man alive, what a drab dull, stupid movie. The first movie that I ever walked out on, that is how horrible it was...
Angel Eyes is no.2. I have made a rule for dates...no more JLo movies!

I thought that ROCKSTAR, another Marky Mark movie, was pretty bad. It was on the same level as the VH1 Def Leppard TV movie. It could've been an awesome movie, but it sucked.

Oh.. and, uh...Jennifer Aniston?!?!

Stick to FRIENDS!

what do you guys think the best movie of the year was?in my opinion, best movie of 2001 was probably Mullholland Drive. Ghost World and Tenenbaums are definitely up there to though. I actually posted a best of 2001 list somewhere.

Rat Race.

What?! Rat Race was the ONLY good movie I saw during the summer. You gotta love Jon Lovitz.

Oh and to reply to the topic, Planet of the Apes. And Osmosis Jones (I don't care if it is a kids movie it still blew.) Those movies sucked ass.
