You may love it, you may hate it. But the fact is, we are raising a serious amount of cash for Toys For Tots.
If you can put your biases aside and think of the less fortunate, together we can make a big difference.

If you are interested in helping the needy this holiday season,

The charity is Toys for Tots, which provides gifts for underprivileged kids during the holiday season.

To donate, you can either send me the money via Paypal to mikeyboyrnf@gmail.com and I'll make a lump sump payment.

You can also donate directly to Toys For Tots here. (http://www.toysfortots.org/donate/default.asp) If you do, please let me know so I can keep a tally of all that we donated.

If neither of those options work, PM me and we'll work something out.

So, what do you say? Can you spare a couple of bucks? The kids will surely appreciate the thought.

Thank you one and all.

And Happy Holidays.

NOW HOLD ON THERE, Hottub.

We know damn well the MPW for Charity is to mask the bit going on with the Ron & Rez show. I seen the hatred, specially from the barracks of Machi Pichu, man. You know nothing about the thermite paint and the ostrich bombs they made out of children's toys. You haven't SERVED. LOLz I can't believe this.

I didn't post in the thread, but I'm curious if the donations can only go towards Toys For Tots?

WIN puts together a Secret Santa every year where you purchase 1 of 3 gifts for a child living in a homeless shelter. The children write their favorite color, shirt size etc. Many of the requested "gifts" are definitely not out of control. These kids ask for new coats, shoes etc. Some kids want video games, books, make up kits, baby clothes, mp3 player, football, educational games etc.

Personally, I like this idea, as you know the child will not be receiving a gift they have no use for. Although, money always works too!

I'm not sure the process but TFT was picked. There already has been a decent share given and it just closed down. Mikey should come up with a total but that doesn't mean there are not other great organizations out there that could use some promotion.

Thank you, Katja, for your generous donation to Toys for Tots.
On behalf of the U.S. Marine Corps, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and the many less fortunate children who will experience the joy of Christmas because of caring people like you, I extend my warmest thanks for your thoughtfulness and generosity. Given today's challenging economic condition, our work together is even more critical as the number of families experiencing financial hardship continues to grow.
We received your contribution of $20.00 on Dec 12, 2009 . The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation provided you with no goods, services, or benefits for your contribution. We are also recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Cash contributions of the Foundation are deductible on your federal income tax return to the extent provided by federal income tax regulations. Please consult your tax advisor. This letter may be printed and retained as your receipt for record puposes.
Again, thank you for enabling the Marine Corps to meet the significant challenge of providing Christmas joy and hope to millions of our nation's neediest children. Your kindness and compassion will make a difference in their lives.
For your reference, your secure Transaction ID is: 3184-1181-xxxxxxxxxxxxx.
An acknowledgement will be sent to you at xxxxxxxxxxxxx.

My donation would have been $1.53 as per my post count. I'm donating much more to a young local family with a mom awaiting a heart transplant. These are people I know and I know their need. It won't be eaten up buy administration fees or the like. You don't like it tough. In closing, blow me Mojo.
