I already ranted on the phone to Greg today about the free state project and how I am a fan. Please do not use the word Republican or Democrat here.
Lets discuss.

Cute idea. But they are still operating under the "oppressive" laws of the US. So, it may be an interesting study, but I don't think it a great leap toward a "free state." Maybe a tiny step.
Buy an island and start from scratch.

I was up there for an internship and there was a different feel about the whole process that truly made me a fan. I don't think that all the laws of the US are oppressive, but there certainly is some revision needed.

This is just going to turn into the awful bickering that every other political thread turns into here. I'm not even sure why I open them up anymore.

It's funny how this country was founded by revolutionaries with very forward thinking ideas about personal rights and freedom, but when those very ideals are discussed today the people putting them forth are labeled "lunatics."
Everyone has gotten so comfortable being governed by wealthy men who are part of the political machine that they think any other way is madness.
Such a shame.

I just stick to what people tell me, and since this is the last thing I read that wasn't on fox news, I'm on board. "turning on fn as we speak for guidance bc this doesn't feel right...as soon as i get back from walmart" :wallbash:
