My personal favorite was "Newhart", the 2nd Bob Newhart show from the 80s (he owned a ski lodge). The greatest, most creative final episode ever!

I think, therefore I am..............a moron.

the Newhart final was good. I agree.

I liked "All good things..." the last episode of STNG

yesterday's final episode of The Tick was pretty good. ok, that doesn't count.

Twin Peaks' "How's Annie" was a fucked up ending. I liked the two endings of MST3K, thought they closed out the show well.

I liked the two endings of MST3K

I missed the second, I completely lost track of the show on sci-fi

I'd have to agree with Puddy. The 2nd Newhart final episode was creative. Nobody ever expected it to end the way it did.

The final M.A.S.H. episode was the best.

In a nutshell, Bob wakes up in bed next to Suzanne Pleshette (his "wife" from the first Newhart show). Turns out the whole show, including owning a ski lodge, was just a dream.

the final episode of M*A*S*H was overrated. it asn't even that good, the kiss was anti-climactic, the Hawkeye insane plotline was insipid and who cares about 'goodbye'

My 2nd favorite was Quantum Leap. I was a big fan of the show, and I really liked how they wrapped it up.

Kids in the Hall had a great finale. Perfect final moment - Paul Bellini stands over their graves. "Thank God that's finally over."

This will show just how much of horrible geek I really am, but I loved the end of Babylon 5. Great end to a great show.

Hey Puddy, can you explain the final episode of Quantum Leap to me, cause i haven't seen it in reruns in forever and don't really remember how it wrapped up.

Sam leaps into a town on the day of his birth which is apparently his home town since he looks the same and there is a mine explosion. Then he talks to the bartender who may or may not be God who tells him that his adventures will continue or something. Then it says "Sam Beckett never returned home" and I think Al never ended up losing his wife and had two daughters.

Definitely the Wonder Years.

I loved Newsradio, but that show's last episode should've just been an explanation of why Bill McNeal (Phil Hartman) died and then end the show. Jon Lovitz was painful to watch.

the episode explaining BIll's death (final season's first episode) was one of the most respectful, kindest, brillaint 'farewell to a character' I've ever seen done on TV. They didn't do the hokey flashbacks, they kept in character, they had the humor that made the show great and they didn't push the emotional envelope by milking it for an hour, they did it in the half hour timeslot and it showed that NewsRadio was the most professional show NBC had to offer.

I liked the two endings of MST3K, thought they closed out the show well.

I thought that the first ending came from the movie...if it was attached to the Comedy Central one, how did that series end??

My favorite all-time final show is Beavis and Butt-head's last episode.
I miss those idiots. They should bring them back.

Honorable Mention goes to the 80's Transformers last 3-part episode of Optimus Prime coming back. Rodimus stinks!
And Transformers were never the same since.

Now can you Dig that!!!
Sucka!!!

I think the final episode of the Prisoner(one of the best tv shows ever) was a let down. they punked out. We don't get to find out who #1 was.I know the symbolism behind the ape and then #6's own face(#1 was #6's own ID) but i just didn't like it. Plus he was in Wales all along.
