It looks to me like she brought him down with an arm tackle, which he could/should have avoided by taping his robes down NFL-style. Also he should have spun with the first hit, which could have gotten him a few extra yards, at least. I'm not impressed with the Vatican's coaching on the fundamentals at all.

Also John Paul 2 took a couple of bullets from a crazy Bulgarian and laughed it off.

/Just saying that I think the Popes named after Beatles are a little better overall.
