if you were given the option to choose something intangible in exchange for not getting the presents you got today, what would you choose?
for me it would be health for myself and my family

For me it would be intelligence(ability to learn faster, I guess). I can't find the best way to describe it so I would say high aptitude for learning.

I'd love to see the same smile and excitement on my sons face every day of the year. it was great. but then again I pretty much got nothing this year, so its not like I would have to give up much.

Well I did not get much so not a hard choice. I would like to be less negative -- I don't ask for much.

Since I got cash, I'd be willing to trade my gifts for objects or services of equal value, of which I'm in need.
Edit: I just noticed the "intangible" rule. Forget that!

I'd trade for a nice sturdy shovel. Then I could clean up all this irony laying around.
