As we ease into the new year,let's look ahead to our goals of a successful xmas party. We should have the goals set by march, and location determined by june...
Perhaps by being far enough ahead of the curve we can reduce the apperance of resentment and/or self serving parties.
...the party should be planned by a committee , not one person who made a phone call.

Once again, what bar is gonna throw out paying customers. Just say go here. We dont need to pay or set shit up. Go with a group to a bar, they throw drinks at you after awhile

My only real request for next year's party (or parties) is that it's all kept to one thread and the only point to be made by having it is to enjoy each other's company. Stroking each other's cocks in thread after thread, yet saying it's everybody else who takes things too seriously, is what has made this board not much fun the last couple of weeks.

It did seem like a lack of planning, and decided by one person. A phone call was made and you got the same deal every schmoe off the street got.
....put a little time into this early in the year...no surprises, do it early enough and twitter. And the other boards would come down....its not like we don't know everybody. You get this set by june,,,,and will be hard NOT to particapate.
