What is this thing that keeps showing up on this site asking for my Twitter login ID and password?
Every so often a login type box will show up on the screen telling me that I need to put in my Twitter info for some API stuff.
Is this some kind of spyware script embedded in an ad someplace on the site? I just escape out of it and enter nothing but it coming up does worry me.

If you are talking about when you put your mouse over someones twitter ID under their avatar and a window pops up asking you for a username and password. That means that person who entered their twitter info has their account set to private.

Yeah it's b/c that person has their twitter feed protected if you following him you would be able to see his latest tweet on the twitter badge under his avatar.
