I hope you guys heard him on O&A but that shit was gold! I know Ron doesn't like the idea of recycling 202 guests but if Patrice and Anthony can rattle his cage imagine what a barred out Fez and DaveyMac could do to him. :smoke:

Ironically, his latest appearance on O&A was more of an Unmasking of the Gallagher persona than Ron's interview with him.

I really do think that is ironic

and funny no matter what some other morons think.

Plus, he was on twice last week, why have him on again? If you find him so interesting, go to one of his live shows. What else do you expect to get out of the guy? Even on his second appearance on O&A last week, he was repeating some jokes.

Normally I would agree as well, but I think there are a few reasons to make an exception for the big Gman (I also agree with Patrice that he needs to redo his brand).

1. Gallagher is bat-shit insane, Fez & ESD are bat-shit insane and Ron is the ultimate ringmaster for that kind of crazy.

2. *Internet psychic* He is not going to make it another 5 years and 202 can be his platform for his anti-gay, rascist, euro-hating old man rantings.

3. Jay Mohr and Johny Fairplay are great but R&F don't have enought celebrity buddies.

so to sum up: I am right and anyone who disagrees is a kook.

Actually I'm failry sure Gallagher would not belong anywhere on the show. He belongs on the O&A show. He's and animal and belongs with animals.

First off, I don't think they "rattled" Gallagher...he was legitimately pissed that Patrice kept telling him that he should drop his entire act and basically do a cheap knock-off Carlin-esque routine.

I think he was uncomfortable with the racist jokes, because he just didn't understand the room (although I did like him yelling at Opie as to why they thought having someone style Sam's hair was a good radio bit).

Second, on the few instances when Ron & Fez have someone who is a dominant personality just sit in who is not being interviewed, but just hanging out as a 3rd mic, it's always really awkward, because Ron likes to dominate and control the conversations, and it changes that dynamic.

Listen to when Jay calls in....Jay's calls are great, and he's really funny, but the interplay is always really awkward, because Jay's another guy who likes to monopolize the conversation and it clashes against Ron controlling the flow of the show.

And lastly, they wouldn't have someone like Gallagher on because he's not 'cool enough for the room' for them, and not radical enough like a Shirley Phelps Roper where they can just let her rant for 30 minutes.

I'm surprised Ron even did an Unmasked with him, but I imagine it was one XM lined up and told him he had to do, like the Bill Engvall one (he's said before he doesn't like any of the Blue Collar Comedy stuff).
