Finished watching it last night and no surprise it was great. Ric Burns has an amazing ability to tell a story.

Your thread title is confusing. It looks like PBS without Ric Burns and the New York documentary is wonderful.

Mathematician: a person whose primary area of study and/or research is the field of mathematics. Mathematicians are concerned with particular problems related to logic, space, transformations, numbers and more general ideas which encompass these concepts.
Equationist: a satirical position used to describe an anal retentive individual who focuses on the minutia of message board thread titles containing mathematical symbols.
Wordexplainist: see douche bag
Ric Burns? Is he related to Ken Burns, who is someone I've actually heard of?
