Really enjoyed the best of today.

Hopefully the boys can put together some others....An ESD one would be fantastic, but there's enough material to do Billy Staples and Al Dukes ones as well.

Then maybe do a "and the rest..." compilation of a segment or two with the likes of Hawk, Mikey D, Wonderboy, J-Dubs, Keisha, Harry etc. pack into one show.

I miss Earl's blatant lies and self-incriminating defense.

I miss Earl's blatant lies and self-incriminating defense.

Saying that Tom Chiassano told him that FreeFM would pay for the XM advertising at the Big Ass Bash, with E-Lo on the phone, was maybe the greatest lie I've ever heard him tell.

And then 20 minutes later, admitting the entire thing is falling apart and putting the blame on Pitzy (who was only an intern at that point).

Vintage Earl.

I always loved how Earl thought that by raising his voice and sarcastically saying "I guess I'm wrong again!" somehow helped him in an argument. It was so strange to hear a grown man argue like a child when backed into a corner. Bring Back Earl!!!!

For someone who added nothing of substance to the show and was by all account utterly incompetent I sure miss him.

I agree with Chigworthy, bring back that crazy negro!

Anybody else catch Dave make the same exact joke, from different shows, about Earl today? He compared him to Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams. It was funny hearing it twice on the best of..

It sounds like Earl might have a heart attack on this replay.
Bringing him back might take some heat off Fez. And prolong his next one from the abuse.

I would only be for the return of Earl if he goes to "Four Winds" for psychological evaluation.

HA. Faildozer strikes again.

I bet Blurb was getting 100% of the $41.95. Now it's $51.95; I am sure Black Earl is getting the extra $10. That is if a book sells. The bright side is he only has to sell 5 books so he can one for himself.

FAIL!

Listening to that Best Of was infuriating at times. It just brought back all the anger at Earl's excuses and his inability to deal with aspects of his job.

I like Earl much better as just a show friend.

I learned to savor those moments of rage, and now I miss them.

Two copies....one to read every day (its my new bible) and one to keep in pristine condition as a collectible (I figure I'll be able to sell it in 20 yrs and fund my retirement)

Do you think he had full intentions of writing a proper book, but then realized how difficult that would be and changed course to make it a photo album? Or was it a photography book all along?

He pitched the idea to write a real book about black rock. A publisher was interested. Once the publisher realized Black Earl couldn't write, the deal fell through. In typical Black Earl fashion, he tried to cover his ass. The Blurb book is a last ditch effort. He can not consider himself published.
