I agree. I remember when everyone used to praise his Batman flicks and insult Schumacher's Batman movies. I always thought they suffered from the same problems, where the visuals were far more important that any storyline.

The only difference was that Burton's style fitted Batman better than Schumachers.

But I can't stand Batman Returns for those visual things.

Well texas is not really known for atheists. The obnoxious ones exist, when I had someone bitch at me for saying god bless you after a sneeze I thought they were joking, until I got called into HR for saying it was threatening.

"god bless you" isnt threatening in that "i will make you believe in my god" kind of way. it is said without thought, like a reflex. now if you were trying to recruit people to your religion, that would be different.
