My son wants me to ship him his Dungeons & Dragons books to Iraq. Those things are heavy, and I'm sure it's going to cost a fortune. He's paying for it, but still... Do any of you know if there are any organizations that will help with something like this? I'm going to ask the USO tomorrow, but I wanted to find out if anyone here has any experience with something like this.

Thanks!

go to the post office first
i think they have something called APO
you just pay US rates,
like you were shipping a box to Cleveland

it is only for shipments to military folks

Thanks again, Dude! I just found the info on this. In case anyone else has the same problem, HERE (http://www.bootsonground.com/usps-shipping-faq.htm) is a link with the rates and other info. Now, he will have something to do besides playing Call of Duty, when he's not on patrols!

Yeah, what Dude said. Just be sure your son gives you his mailing address with the APO number and that should be good. And tell him to be safe!
