Powers: The Television Series?

AICN is reporting (http://www.aintitcool.com/node/43735)that Kevin Falls, the Journeyman creator, is doing a script for a pilot episode adapting the Michael Bendis comic "Powers" for FX.

I've always enjoyed Powers, both when it was at Image and at Marvel. For those not familiar with the comic book, it's always been described as NYPD Blue in a superhero universe. Essentially, a former superhero is a police detective assigned to investigate crimes involving people with superhero powers.

It was a tough call. If it was solely about the comic book, definitely the geek forum.

But since it's about a future television show, I'd say enterainment. Generally, we have movie and tv adaptations of comic books in the entertainment forum.
