floaters vs sinkers
BM
Health professionals have been debating the causes of “floaters” vs “sinkers” for decades
If one has only one the other most times should this be cause for concern?
PS for some reason I can't start a thread so posted here.

Depends on which one you have most of the time. Normal stool tends to sink; stool full of fat or gas tends to float. The normal state is to have mostly sinkers, with occasional floaters depending on changes in your diet. If you have floaters all the time, you may have a problem absorbing fat (or you may be taking a medication, like ALLi' that prevents absorption of fat). Certain intestinal parasites can cause increased gas which can cause floating doodies.
if you're floating all the time, get checked out! if you're sinking all the time, you're probably normal.
