Left sided boogers

Dr. Steve,
So I keep getting these dried up, concrete-like boogers in my nose. I know it sounds juvenile but it won’t stop. With in a few hours of dislodging one I have another waiting for me in the same spot. They aren’t way in there, just on the inside front edge. It’s only been in the left nostril. I never notice my nose being runny but they always show up and have been for the past month or two.

You may have some irritation in the nose causing some secretion of fluid into the nose that dries into boogers. A lot of times regular irrigation with nasal saline spray can help heal the wound and stop the booger production. If it keeps up, and Ear Nose and Throat specialist can look into your nose and see if there's a problem.

i get the exact same thing inside my right nostril, just inside the edge. Sometimes more severe than others, but always small, hard, and painful. Always in the same spot too. They always go away for a while, then come back for a week or so. I've theorized that they aren't boogers, but scabs. Perhaps from a fever-blister or some similar malady--then again, I'm no doctor.
