That was a good movie. Grodin was good in it too, it was one of the few movies where his annoying-ness worked in the part. That said, the odds are overwhelmingly in favor of this sequel being a mess.

The other disturbing thing about that article is DeNiro is going to play Governor George Wallace during the 1965 march in Alabama. Wallace was in his 40's at the time, DeNiro is 66.

Has DeNiro gone through all his money or something? Did he lose it all on that TriBeCa Film Festival of his? Does he have 12 ex-wives?

Sequels made too many years after the original are generally a bad idea (Yes, I'm talking to you "Godfather III" and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull").

Even so, I guess they are going to act like "Another Midnight Run" "Midnight Runaround" and "Midnight Run For Your Life" never happened.

I will remain optimistic, but cautious.

As so they should. I didnt even know those movies existed. I had to IMDB them to make sure you werent bullshitting.

Wow. Shooter McGavin as Jack Walsh? They mustve been great. They were released in February, March and June of 1994.
