I'll miss him. I don't know why but the last 2 years I was really pulling for him to win another Superbowl. I liked that he was unknown, then great, then shit, then great again.

I agree with liking him. I used to bag groceries.

Something tells me he's not going to pull a Favre and start playing cock tease with the media about a possible return on the eve of training camp. Speaking of Favre, if he too decides to hang it up (for real this time!), it'll mean that the Saints traumatized two quarterbacks into retirement with their relentless physicality in the playoffs.

He was a good one. Liked his back story - not getting drafted, playing in the AFL and then getting the chance to reach the pinnacle of the Superbowl.
Well liked and always left nothing on the field - a class act.
Farewell - see ya coaching soon.

As long as Kurt Wagner never retires.

My guess is he will go do missionary work for a few years, and then he will be the next Tony Dungy.

Not a chance.
You don't understand football very well, do you?
2 MVPs, 3 superbowl appearances (1 win), basically the same stats over the same career length as Troy Aikman.
He's in.
EDIT: His stats are also in line with Jim Kelly, and has a ring. He's in.

Pretty good chance he makes the hall.
Not a chance.
He's a first ballot Hall of Famer without question.

Hes a definite Hall of Famer.
His next stop should be with a screenwriter to get his life story made into a movie. Its pretty remarkable.

Mrs. Warner: When are you finally going to retire, Kurt?
Kurt: When you look like a woman.

Tim Tebow could take some lessons from Kurt Warner about how to be a Bible-thumper without being creepy about it.

I'm sure that if Warner gave Tebow some good advice, he'd just fumble it anyways.

i realize football is a tough sport. that lineman did not have to lay into him the way he did. all he needed to do was get in his way. again, a natural reaction for a defensive lineman but the level of impact was unnecessary...
a lot of respect for Kurt, a true football player and heart
