TKO!
It's a great watch. He completely controlled them in their own caucus.

i seen this on the news and thought he came across pretty good while they looked like a bunch of spoiled brats.

Their questions were so generic and sounded completely uninformed...they have an ailing President in the Lion's Den, and they can't pin him down?
The only one who made a good point was the congressman from the budget committee who kind of nailed him on spending.
I loved watching this though...if the U.S. government had this style governmental interactions regularly, I'd watch a lot more C-SPAN (currently, I watch pretty much none).

Why should they? He was a guest. From what I saw, there were valid points made by both "sides". Was the entire GOP side of the House supposed to gang up on one guy? That would have been rude and ill advised.

Yes you just described them perfectly

No, but they should have presented valid questions that articulated their side.
It was like listening to a loop of O'Reilly's Talking Points Memo...only a couple guys articulated legitimately engaging policy questions. It was a horrendous representation of their caucus.
I'm finishing up right now and its outstanding. I only wish the american public took the time to watch this kind of stuff.

It's a shame it'll never happen again (or at least be televised).
All the reaction was "why would the GOP allow this to be televised."

Which is exactly why Fox News went away from the telecast. Obama could've stood there all day and kicked the fuck out of the low-brow talking points they threw at him.
I kept thinking about what other politicians we've seen that could've done what Obama did today?

I think he's got a unique skill set that confounds blinkered ideologues on both ends of the political spectrum. Every day I thank the baby Jesus and the Democratic Iowa caucus goers for not fucking up the the last election.

Ha, my friend just texted me, "that's what happens when you have no ideas and you debate a Harvard Law Professor"

Bill Clinton was pretty good at it.
George W. Bush actually the opposite skill (which also works very well)l of marginalizing very poignant question with talking point answers.
