It Will Be as if the American Founding Never Happened

Forget George Washington, James Madison, Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln—nothing meaningful happened in America before 1877.

That’s the lesson North Carolina public high schools may start teaching. Under proposed changes in their high school history curriculum, the U.S. History course (which seniors take) will cover events from 1877 forward only. I am pretty sure it is Obama and the illegal aliens further implementing their master plan.

This seems utterly alarmist, Its not like that material wont be covered prior to high-school as well as any post high school education

This is bullshit. Everyone knows that it's pre-1650 America that's irrelevant

But teaching the ratifying of the constitution and the founding of America is pretty important. I would think you would want to cover it in more detail in high school, and then at it's deepest in college.

Hate to break it to you guys, but when I was in high school two years ago, I took ancient history, then modern world history, then 20th Century US History, and I didnt take any history course senior year. I learned nothing about pre-20th century america after 8th grade. This is nothing new

Pretty much the same thing here. Pre-civil war American history was taught in 7th and 8th grade.

Later periods were taught in later years, although my school never had world or ancient history. I had to wait until college to take those courses.

And when you think about it, why would they teach you the same course twice in high school.

Is this this the guy that teaches that the constitution was written by rich white guys so they could keep their slaves, and that america is the oppressor ?

The Bible clearly states that the world is only 133 years old so I don't know what you heathens are complaining about.
