Watching a marathon of this on G4 now.

For those that haven't seen the show it's basically a version of Cops where they follow officers at/in college towns.

Pretty entertaining.

Makes you think to yourself, " Man was I like that when I was drunk in college ? "

It's obvioulsy edited to show us the cleanest footage but in most cases you can see they really are trying to work w/ the people they encounter and in many cases the peoples' behavior leads them to a ticket and/or arrest.

I worked in law enforcement in a college town but never really had to deal much w/ college students in their enviornment.

One episode was great as the cops came to a house because they were called for a noise vilolation.

As they get to the house they look in the open windows and see pot paraphenalia.

Finally somebody comes out and the cops ask if they can go in and the kid says no.

The cop goes in anyway and the kids starts popping off about violating civil rights and needing a warrant until they finally shut him up and tell him the deal.

It was in TX and basically they just got a $50 ticket.

It's funny because you can totally see yourself in many of these situations.

Like talking too much when they just want you to be quiet.

Being such a mess you can't answer their questions.

Trying to be " helpful " when they haven't asked.

Telling them what they can't do because you saw it on TV or in the movies.

It seems like most of them are actually city police officers in college towns as opposed to the actual university police.

I've seen stuff so far at Cincinnati, Tallahasee, Cal St-Chico, Texas St, Greenville NC and even 1 public urination at Binghamton.

I wish that show was on a real station so I could watch. I got tapped as a freshman to be the official cop talker. No one ever got arrested, but it was probably out of pity.

The episodes they showed today were supposedly from Season 1 which must've been 2007 based on the age/birthdate they mentioned on one of the students.

I'm not sure what day of the week it normally airs.

I'd guess it's produced for G4 by the Langleys or whoever it is that make Cops/Street Patrol, but I could be ass-out wrong.

Campus PD makes me wonder why the fuck do Frats exist. I could see allowing them to exist if everyone who joined one was immediately lobotomized and castrated, but beyond that, they just seem like gigantic, sizzling cauldrons of douche.
