It's humorous that they carefully measure your carry on to determine it is the right size to fit in the overhead, but people are up to someones judgement after they have paid and boarded. I have come to loathe to fly. The seats have never been designed for comfort, just to squeeze and many people on the plane as possible. First class is an expensive luxury.

when i flew down to pr this past christmas, i went in spirit (which i will NEVER do again).

i have a touch of the claustrophobia. when i got into my seat, i thought i was gonna have a full out panic attack because the space was so small. im 5'2" and i had no leg room. there was BARELY enough room for the meal tray to go down (though it wasnt necessary since nothing was served on the 3 hr flight).

i dont know how tall people do it.

I only say this b/c I no longer have to do it everyday, but the double decker trains on njtransit are very comfortable.

I had to go from princeton to newak twice a day everyday, and loved when we got the new trains. Very smooth, clean, and quiet.
