Well its been a year since one of the biggest waste of taxpayer dollars ever signed was born and the result? Millions more unemployed, billions of dollars wasted, a concern from China that our debt is a problem, the unemployment rate at 17.3% But his highness St Baracketh of Chicago is touting his massive scheme as a success. In his slick lawyer talk he claims that 2 million jobs were created of saved. Meanwhile most were temporary, but the hacks and handlers in teh Administration are breaking out the bubbly

Yet another in a long line of worthless 'writing' from an otherwise impish pixie. When are you going to realize that BOTH parties suck an equal amount of cock? Or are you so wrapped up in the finger pointing that has gotten us to this point? Nothing gets accomplished from these parties anymore---Nothing. Again, we are working on borrowed time. You are a tool, Serpico. A tool. I'd be willing to bet you are a small, little man who is incapable of thinking for himself. You sound a lot like an MSNBC anchor. I don't think anyone could rationally argue that the stimulus is anything other than an abject failure. Conversely, the bailout (which all you little Democrat Faggots begged for from Bush to pass and then pointed fingers at him) was a mistake also. Nothing is too big to fail. Do you honestly think any of it has made us better off? Wake up, Dick-Bucket!!!! Wake the fuck up!!!!

You just don't get it, Serpico and odds are; you never will. Try and climb your way out of the Democratic hole you have found yourself in. I know it will be hard. I know you will rely on others to do that for you, but just try. Try and believe in individualism and not auto unions, social programs, bailouts, handouts, welfare with no incentive for change and so on and so forth. Try and see that even YOU can have a good life if you work for it. That's my point. No, everything would not be fine now if we had not bailed out the auto companies, but it would have been better. Of the companies that received money, how many of them are still in financial peril? Was it worth it? Was the money we spent that seemingly did nothing but delay the inevitable actually accomplish the job other than paying back unions that help elect one of THE WORST PRESIDENTS OF ALL TIME?

Factories getting ready to hire (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB20001424052748704398804575071652158793106.html)
Manufacturers are seeing more signs that the U.S. economic recovery is on a solid footing, opening the way for new hiring as well as call-backs for factory workers laid off during the depths of the recession.
Caterpillar Inc., the Peoria, Ill.-based heavy-equipment maker, has brought back 600 workers in the past 60 days, including 100 recalled to an engine plant in Indiana last week. Allen Edmonds Shoe Corp. has been relying on overtime to meet growing demand, but is now preparing to start adding new workers at its U.S. plants in coming weeks.

Printing all this money out of thin air is a big concern, I never said it wasn't However most people dont even know what the repercussions of this huge explosion of debt really is and that interest must be paid on it. As long as the economic illiterates keep thinking that Barry is going to fix all of this, it should be a concern
Look. Obama isnt going to take away my car or house, but his economic policies are not making things better

I really just wanted one example of how things are different in your life now as to say 3 years ago. The way you're going on, it sounds like you've really been scorned by the Obama team and was honestly curious what had happened. Or, as it now seems, if you were just buying into the studio wrestling "heel" gimmick created by either side depending on who happens to be in charge.
I'll let you respond with something that has nothing to do with what I just posted.

The eventual collapse of the dollar. China can not continue to buy TSY Bonds without wanting a higher interest rate as they are concerned.
Theres also a strong possibility that they call in their markers. Then how are we supposed to pay them? This may not happen next year or even 5 years from now, but continuing on this path is going to lead to the fall of the empire.

No, they weren't.
It was only his detractors and plain 'ol haters only-because-he-was-a-democrat that were pushing some ideological messiah complex, that THEY were giving him. It was the anti-Obama crowd that raised him up so high that any mistake would look like a glorious fall.
Now, of course, there most likely were a few who really did think that, but if you thought they had any voice or were to be believed, then there isn't a difference between them and those who fell for the "he would ride on a white horse and save the country" shtick that conservative radio has been touting.

I'm reasonably with you but I think the truth is in the middle if the two of you... there are far more people who voted for Obama because he was black or because they thought he was some type of savior than the left wants to admit and there are far less than the right wants to admit. OK, the only explanations I can come up with for this monomanical obsession is that Obama stole his bike as a kid or that Wrestlingfan used to date Michelle Robinson and she dumped him for Barack.
I really would like to debate policy issues on the board occasionally with buddays on the right side of the political spectrum to challenge my own biases and opinions. But it seems to me that most of the self-identified right have tossed out critical thought and replaced it with a rabid tribalism characterized only by ad hominem attack on anybody identified as other.
