Have you watched the Finale of a big show without seeing any of the episodes before?

I see that Lost is having a series finale and I've never seen one episode but was thinking of watching it. I have no idea who the characters are and know basically nothing about the show besides what I hear on the radio. It seems to be a big TV event. Maybe I'll check it out. I guess back in the day people watched the Mash series finale that didn't always watch the show. Have you ever done this?

There are several shows where I've watched the series finale even though I'd stopped watching the show itself previously. "Cheers" is one of those shows that comes to mind.

I watched the Twin Peaks movie before I had ever seen the show. I was very, very confused, but liked it enough to search for the two seasons on DVD. Wish it had gone on another season.:down:

i did that with x files. i had maybe seen 2 episodes in my life but i saw the first movie. i didn't really start to like sci-fi stuff until college.

I accidentally watched the 2nd season finale of Breaking Bad without seeing any other episodes.
