jordan did get a piece of starks' arm before he dunked it. he obviously threw down more on grant, but jordan gets in on the action as well.
now that jeter thing was complete bullshit so fucking infuriating.

I don't know how you can get infuriated by Jeter, and I HATE THE YANKEES. Jeter's just always done it right, rode that groove in a good team and then just tucked in behind the ARod hate slip stream, and basically smoothed his way to eventual HOF induction.
I repect the guy, but I don't think he's a HOF'er. He doesn't infuriate me. Just being quiet and decent goes a long way these days.

LeBron ain't coming. The Knicks are turning into the Chicago Cubs of the NBA - that is if anyone still cared about the NBA.
I think the NBA was finished as soon as Kobe became the poster player, because, you know, he raped that girl and all. It's like if OJ were in his prime when he offed his wife. We'd all be talking world cup right now.

he was in fair territory when he caught it. im not denying it was a great play. but people act like he caught it diving in the stands, which is clearly not the case
I have nothing against jeter. he is one of the few yankees I actually do respect. Derek jeter, Mo, and Felix heredia

Maybe he didn't dunk on Jordan but he did drown the Knick's chances at a championship like a cleft palated puppy in a bathtub by refusing to stop throwing up bricks against Houston lo those many years ago.

Jordan wasn't the closest defender but he was up in the air trying to defend the shot. Being he made an attempt and was up in the air then YES he did dunk on Jordan but it was more in the face of the closer defender... Jordan just ate his secondary dust
:)

not true. not only did he dive into the stands to make the catch, he dove into the upper deck! and then he turned all of the water in the stadium into wine, then he ascended into heaven before re-materializing on the field. after all, he's a yankee, and everything the yankees do is miraculous and the rest of the world is supposed to suck their c@cks! :wallbash:
don't you know anything about sports?!?!

watch it again. jordan touched starks' arm before he dunked it. he clearly was challenging the dunk and could've been called for a bs foul.

If Horace Grant wasnt completely in his way Jordan actually blocks that. Completely overrated dunk. I agree with the asian. Stop it.

The dunk wouldn't have even happened if 143lb. Patrick Ewing hadn't blatantly shoved B.J. Armstrong to the ground.

Who is doing this exactly? Even John Sterling, the biggest Yankee blowhard/mark/homer clearly says "Jeter makes a one-handed running catch (dramatic pause) and dives into the photographer's area...blah, blah, blah...A running catch, and to break his momentum he dove into the photographer's area."
If anyone you're having a baseball conversation with references Jeter diving into the stands to make a catch, STOP TALKING TO THEM, they're an idiot.

its not just people. YES, ESPN. Anytime they refer to that catch now refers to it as Jeters catch while diving into the stands. Sterling got it right at that moment cause he was watching.
Thats my point, it evolves overtime into this moment that never happened. Alot of NY sports moments are like that.
Btw, Giambi was also safe at home
