What's the story behind the "Ron" cupcake

I've been a listener for about the last 3 yrs. What's the story behind the cupcake?? I recently took a trip to Chicago. I went to Molly's. The Ronnie B is the best cupcake ever. Just wondering what the back story to it is. I haven't heard exactly how Ron got this cupcake.

He's friends with the guy who opened up a bakery, and they decided to name a cupcake after him. The cupcake is based on the Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpet.

Going out on a limb, I am going to say the fact that they both have butterscotch may have something to do with it.
