The raindrops are so big on my roof, they almost sound like nickels from God.

Or maybe a little smaller than nickels.

I don't mind the occasional rain. The worst part is that this goddamn cat has to be inside all day.

My basement has about 6 inches of water.

The store where I work had several leaks today. People certainly didn't let the rain stop them from shopping though...

last time my basement flooded i had a sump pump put in. i asked the guy to put it in deeper and the jackass told me if its too deep itll always run. ok fine. fast forward a year and a half to today and more ground water coming up. luckily i caught it as it was happening, got 2 wet vacs going immediately, moved all my fancy electronics and it seems to have subsided for now.

Seriously. This storm was worse than any of the hurricanes that made it up here that I can remember. I've got to (at least) replace my gutters which are now half off the house and a big patio table which flipped and smashed into a million little pieces. (I blame James Frey.) I've got to go outside and check the rest of the damage.

This is gonna put a serious hurt on my booze, drugs and hookers budget for awhile but I guess it's good news for Home Depot's sales.

I dunno. It would probably take about the same clean-up time either way, but if it were peeshes I could throw them in the freezer and save them until it's time to mail Fezzie an Xmas present.

Every time it rains I feel it in my foot from the injury I sustained after a very good R&F Halloween party. It used to be worse but now I barely feel it.

a bunch of skirting around the base of my home blew down. it's flexible and easy to put back in place. it's a 2008 mobile home and the house itself did not budge or shake a bit

all i can say is my life is pretty plain

If that stands for drinking heavily, blacking out while walking home so you don't even remember getting your foot ran over then yeah.

The roof is leaking and the wind is howling
Kids are crying 'cos the sheets are so cold
Woke this morning found my hands were frozen
I've tried to fix the fire, but you know the damn thing's too old
