The embarrassing military failure was a result of the successes of Soviet intelligence gathering, intelligence from not only KGB spies, but from information published in US newspapers. He's pleading with the media to exhibit MORE discretion in regard to information that could hurt the country.

Looks to me like you just copy and pasted this from a site like fact check.org. I doubt you even played the video.
And why can't someone post a hard to find video as an open for discussion? Which has now been buried on the 'nutjob' website as you call it.
This speech is a mainstay of those that follow conspiracy. I don't know much other than that. But when i have time i will play the thing and comment on it. Others could do the same. Or at the very least the video is here to go back to.

I heard the audio long ago, and could not make out much of it. As aready posted in responce to the thank you reply here.

It was my mistake to respond after he incited me. I will be ignoring these attempts from now own. kinda like I did here.

What I liked about the way JFK handled the Bay of Pigs debacle was the fact he went on national tv and took full responsibility for it.
It was handed off to him by the Eisenhower administration and took place only a few months into Kennedy's administration. At a cabinet meeting, Stewart Udahl suggested Kennedy pass some of the blanme to Ike, but JFK refused.
Kennedy then called in Allen Dulles and told him he was fired, as well as the director of CIA operations. Because of Dulles' long service to the country, JFK let things die down before Dulles actually had to clean out his desk.
Kennedy always regretted he didn't have his own people overseeing the operation and had relied on those in place when he took over as president.

It was a debacle, but Kennedy stood tall and took full responsibility and refused chances to shift the blame. Too bad we didn't see that after 9/11.....
