Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry vs. Charles Bronson's Death Wish. Who you want in a shoot out for justice?

No contest, Harry has the power of the badge

I was gonna go Dirty Harry hands down, but then I thought about it and I think I've actually sat through more Death Wish movies in my days.

I think I'm still gonna go with Dirty Harry overall but I just didn't want to make it sound like a landslide. There's something I always liked about those Death Wish movies.

Harry.

Bronson had one good Death Wish movie, and the rest were embarrassing. Dirty Harry had some great movies, not including The Dead Pool.

I would have to say that the Dirty Harry movies are much better from a critical standpoint, but those tacky-ass Death Wish sequels are so entertaining and funny that I have to give it to ol' Charles.

I mean, have you SEEN Death Wish IV? Kersey blows up a table of guys at a restaurant (one of them being Danny Trejo) with a wine bottle.

Did Dirty Harry have Jeff Goldblum, in hippie gear, calling a woman a "god-damn rich cunt"?

No?

I rest my case.

Yes!

The best part is right before the explosion when you can see the fake dummies.

I have to agree. Recently I ran across Death Wish V on cable - and I saw this scene where he kills a guy with a remote control soccer ball. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG8QUUowbGg)

Clip is a little not safe for work. A second of boobies is shown. Hee Hee.

Bronson wins.

Harry Callahan, for all his bad assediness, is still basically a good cop and will arrest someone if he doesn't have to kill them. Bronson will kill all the bad guys.
