I just listened to yesterdays (5/7) show late last night and heard the announcement for the colin quinn unmasked. I have never attended an unmasked before, but now that I am unemployed, I have all the time in the world, so I would love to go to this.
They mentioned on the show that you could get tickets by going to 202friends on twitter. I have a twitter account but I don't really use it, so I'm just looking to see if anyone can let me know how to go about getting tix. I sent a message to @202friends that said I would like to attend the unmasked next week. Is there anything else that I will need to do? Also, has anyone gotten unmasked tix, will I be too late if I sent the message this morning??
Thanks!

Excellent question.
Has anyone had any experience with getting in via twitter? I sent a request as well, but how will I know that I'm able to go?
Just keep checking for a confirmation through twitter?

I sent a direct message to 202friends. Should it be a "reply?"
Hope I get in, colin is great.

post a tweet to @202friends telling them that you would like to go. If you get selected, you'll get a direct message giving you instructions for attending.

Considering you can only direct message someone who's following you, and that the whole process is rather public, Twitter is a really clunky way to do these kinds of things.

Agreed.
The email option has always worked in the past.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say they use Twitter because it's free. They don't have to put in any effort or upkeep like they would do if they had a website. It's crazy that they don't have a website. It's 2010 even people with shitty podcasts that nobody listens to have websites.

So, there's no method available to them to create free email addresses for the show, if they chose that route?

Hilarious Unmasked with Colin Quinn last night, and a top notch interview by Ron.
I hope Colin gets back on TV, we need him!
Be sure to check it out once it's announced when they're going to air it.

It was great. I really dig the Unmast with the 202 comics.

The Unmasked was a ray of sunshine in an otherwise crappy week. Colin and Ron were both great.

This goes beyond an errant finger, I suspect intoxication.

Ron and Fez call it Unmast. I'm not sure where everyone got the Unmasked thing from.

Went to Colin's one man show that ran for a couple of weeks last spring/summer. He's been tweaking it and I believe its set to return soon. What we saw was incredibly insightful and funny
