ebay

thanks. I usually check ebbets fields flannels and mitchell and ness but the stuff there is too pricey if there's no discount or sale as I'm looking into old school jerseys. I'm watching to see if they have the Monach's jersey go on sale and the LT jerseys cuz u know.

Someone from my office turned me on to this (http://www.fashionlineshop.com/) site and I've used them about a dozen times. The average jersey price is $35.00 and are just as authentic as the real ones you would pay $150 to $200 for anywhere else. They have the same exact look/feel as game worn jerseys. You can not tell the difference.

bullshit. the materials in authentic jerseys alone cost more than that. They are prob the same as the 60 or 70 dollar replicas. No way can you get authentics for 35. Authentics are different from the ones most people wear, incase you didnt know. there is no way bro

He never said it was authentic, he said they were LIKE authentics. They are chinese knockoffs, but they are very, very good chinese knockoffs.

And authentic jerseys don't cost that much either. They're cotton, polyester, etc. Machine made and stiched. It's not like they are made of silk and cashmere.

It's a shame all they sell is free shipping

Are you talking about the site where they sell from China? I've read some customer reviews about them and it was poor. Sorry didn't see the link. The site I was talking about was Overstock or something like that.

There used to be a site called www.YoyoCart.com, then it changed to www.STHcool.com. The site had really nice jerseys for $25-$35 plus $20 shipping from China. The selection is sparse, but when they have something you like you can't beat the price. The site goes offline at random intervals, too...so if it's not up & running right now give it a few days & check back.

The Redskins store sells jerseys of former players sometimes for like $10 during special sales. I imagine most teams have deals like that. Even if it's a former player, they are still very nice shirts for that kind of price.

Is it safe to use a credit card on some of these sites that are out of the US?

I would recommend buying a rechargable gift card and using that. That way if something goes wrong, it's contained.

I've never had a problem using a credit card on the site. I also never said they were authentic jerseys, but the have the weight and feel of the authentic jerseys. Numbers, names, and patches are actually sewn on. They are about as close as your going to get to the game worn stuff at a fraction of the cost. Believe me, you'll be pleasantly surprised once you actually get your hands on one of them.

Don't mind Snoogans, he just likes to sound tough when being an idiot.

that said, I'm somewhat concerned. Have you ever gotten a Yankee Jersey from them? I've seen some really good Yankee knockoffs, but i've seen some fucking horrific ones, with number fonts not matching and shit.

This site seems to have that. For example:

http://www.fashionlineshop.com/UploadFile/20100409/20100409121301.jpg

This jersey has a 1951 patch on it. Ruth died in 48. And even though the Yankees used some funky fonts back in the day for numbers, it almost looks like someone took a Yogi 51 knockoff and cut the 8 on the back.

However, some of the site's stuff is pretty fucking close:

Example of a bad fake:

http://www.fashionlineshop.com/UploadFile/20090605093206EBjB6.jpg

Fonts on the nameplate are wrong, and the big block numbers are not even close to what the Jets use. Sleeve stripes are wrong too.

Now, I'm not saying the entire site is trash, but there's obviously a quality control issue.

I hate the screen printed NFL jerseys they sell at the stores for $60-70 a pop. So I'll check out the NFL jerseys on the various sites.

I have an eye for this stuff because I'm a perfectionist. I hate bad jerseys with a passion. One of my biggest pet peeves was Yankee jerseys with names on the back.

I have three bootleg Jerseys, well, I have one and my wife has two. My bootleg is close, but the number is SLIGHTLY off on the back. You could only tell if you were looking closely.

Liz has a Yogi knockoff which is even more spot-on than the knockoff shown above, and a Sanchez knockoff.

I have gotten a few jerseys from Jersey101.com. Another site from Southeast Asia. The football jerseys I have are great as are the baseball jerseys. The price was usually around $35 or so.

Currently the site says it is under maintenance, so you might want to check back in a couple of days.

If you're in the hockey jersey market, I recommend Coolhockey.com. You can get a replica and have them put authentic lettering on it for 60 dollars, which saves a bundle of money, so you'll end up paying around 160 instead of close to 300 for something that looks exactly the same (and with no screen printing)

I got a knockoff jets jersey... the lettering is good, but the jersey itself is very light weight compared to the on-field jersey I have from NFLShop. The other problem is that it's sized COMPLETELY differently. The 2XL feels like a L. That's the other thing you have to watch out for with knockoffs - sizing is totally off.
