My name is the thread that wont die, I am 282 posts old. I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches; I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water-activated gel cleanser. Then a honey-almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque, which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer. Then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing protecting lotion. There is an idea of a thread, somekind of abstraction, but there is no real me. Only an entity-- something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable. I simply will not die.

We had posters and .net relatives who worked all over the place and they tipped us off about what thread was coming in and what thread was going out.

If any of the mods or administrators gave us trouble, Erole had his union people scare them with a little virus. It was beautiful. It was an even bigger thread killer than O&A's, and Wilee was in charge. Whenever we needed a dead thread we'd get the Silly Puddy. To us, it was better than Who Loved Who On The Message Boards.

There was Wilee and Silly Puddy and me. And there was Michael Fury Stabile, Cheezemee Ravioli, Ryan the Great Linguini, Too Tall James, Jerry on the Taker, Clare the Crazy, Knocked the Knocker, Lulu, who got her name by repeating Lu once, Johnny 5pumps, who got that nickname because he pumped everything 5 times. Like, "You like that bitch don't you, don't you, don't you, don't you, don't you?"

For us to kill threads any other way was nuts. To us, those goody-good people who worked five star threads, who took to posting drama everyday and worried about it after, were dead. They were suckers. They had no balls. If we wanted a thread dead, we just killed it. If anyone posted twice, they got hit so bad they never double posted again. It was routine. We didn't even think about it.
