Starting tomorrow 150 Raw Dog Comedy 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Jim Norton, comedian and cohost on Opie and Anthony, bring us the comedians that we need to know, that we should know, that we want to hear. This week Jim sits down with comedian Bobby Kelly.
Could be interesting.

More and more you hear Jimmy asking 'real' guests (not regular comedians), meaningful questions, and I think he does a pretty good job at it while O&A are just goofing off. He can get a guest talking. My only problem is it sounds a little forced; almost like it doesn't fit in with his character (whereas with Ron it's always like he's talking to somebody he's known his whole life and is having a great time doing it).
I think Jimmy considers himself a great interviewer and wants to become better known as one, so he's starting a show where all he will do is talk to guests instead of crack jokes for 4 hours out of 5.
I love Jimmy and I think he feels most comfortable and like himself doing conversational comedy, characters and insults and it shows: he does them better than anybody. Interviewing, and even stand-up, I just don't get that natural vibe.
Oh yeah, and I think he's terribly jealous of Ronnie B. You ever notice how whenever O&A bring Ron up, Jimmy never has anything to say?

Jim has mentioned that he doesn't listen to RnF. I think he grabs some lunch and then takes a nap after the show. So by the time he gets up, RnF are over. He usally has gigs lined up at night.

I don't think that's right. Last year (I don't remember exactly when) Jimmy started the "Fuck Ron Bennington" bit with the payoff that he got sucked into listening to an interview that he thought he had no interest in (I think it was Marianne Faithful) and wound up listening to the whole thing because Ron's interviewing skills made it fascinating (or something to that effect).
It is my perception that Ron gets plenty of respect from the O&A team.

This.
Jim has praised Ron on many of occasion.
Looking forward to this.
And, being that he's been on Umasked before, I couldn't see Jimmy being comfortable with just ripping off Ron.
And, unless I'm missing something, RBI's air on "The Virus" on Sunday nights.

I would think that Jim's show would be more like Marc Maron's WTF Podcast than XM Unmasked.
Either way I really want to listen.
Also, why have I only heard about this through 1 commercial break?

I don't think it's going to be like Unmasked or even a straight interview show. He said he will be having some comic friends on today Bob Kelly and Amy Amy Schumer talking to them and playing some comedy bits. As far as advertising it yeah the company sucks about that they have it listed on XM's home page with the wrong channel number.

Its just more comic on comic dick sucking. How many times do we have hear what "geniuses" Carlin and Pryor were? Or how difficult and artistic the craft is. In Jimmys words, "we get it."

He's only got an hour, and that's what Raw Dog is - clips of comedians.
I love that Carlin clip - it's so true and brilliant.
My one complaint: too short. Only and hour and these breaks really kill the flow. There's 15 minutes left and Amy hasn't even been on yet.
Oh... next week. Never mind.

My only disagreement here is that Jimmy's been doing it for at least 3 years, so I don't think it's been a gradual or even a recent development
