There is absolutley no jobs in the area where Handy Lift Corp. is located. I lived around there for a while. Unless Dave brings himself down to a low paying 36 thousand a year job. Which would be OK if your living in Hendersonville, NC...where Handylift is.

Rent is super cheap and cost of living is out of Wal-Mart. Cheap as well.

At the risk of sounding like a rube, it doesn't feel like that much of a bit. I'm sure parts of it are, but I honestly don't have high hopes that Sirius is going to come up with a decent amount of cash. From Dave's description, (Disclaimer: only using show knowledge obviously, and am not privy to any real life Dave information) it seems like his salary would have to at least double. I don't see a company doubling someone's salary overnight when he doesn't have an offer waiting to give him that much money. A token raise is only delaying the inevitable unfortunately for his money woes.

I think he needs to officially become a third mic to get the money he is looking for. I don't think Sirius can bump him up that much and still call him a producer.

Right now he's 2nd mic and being paid like a worker at McD's. He's coming off like a sad sack goofy loser and they are never respected by upper management.

I personally liked Ron & Fez long before Dave ever came around, and over the years they have had a long list of various extended show personalities. I guess I'm a purest when it comes to R&F because they are the ones who drew me to the show originally not anybody else. Oh sure the was Giant Brian, WonderBoy, Crazy Jen, Kesha, Monster...etc..etc. But they all come and go.

I like Dave but whether he is there or not I really don't have an opinion because he is not what drew me into the show in the first place. It was Ron's quick wit and Fez's sort of sidekick role to Ron.

On a different note...Ron has asked Dave at least 4 times in the last 18 months to get me booked on the show and he doesn't even respond in any sort of way. The least he could do is say I'm working on it or I have run into some problems or whatever, anything is better then silence. So its frustrating, but then again Earl did the same thing as well....lol....go figure.

That actually not true, Ron doesn't do the talent booking or arranging rooms or security for my shows and never has in the 7yrs I have been associated with them. That's not his job...
