Sure. I mean...it's no Fuck Shit Stack, but it's a decent little pop song.
Is that Weird Al?

Yes, its Weird Al. And it is a decent little pop song, with a fun video.
Good for them.

You're just pissed because you're the Hanson brother who isn't in the band.
You're not even one of the cooler Hanson Brothers who play for the Charlestown Chiefs.

In all seriousness, as a huge Blues Brothers mark, I really love the video. Good song too.
I totally didn't realize that was Weird Al. I was wondering why he was in the shot; he was kind of distracting. I thought it was really Murphy Dunne with some bad plastic surgery or CGI or something.
I never thought I'd say this about a Hanson song: but that was pretty fucking cool!

What's even more amazing is that I'm sure practically none of Hanson's core fans even know the Blues Brothers movie.

According to Wikipedia:
Written by Isaac Hanson, Taylor Hanson and Zac Hanson.

I cant say I like the song, just cause its not really my thing. But at least this can be respected as music. I cant hate on this. Good for them, I guess.

Years ago at the now defunct Wetlands in NYC, I went to a Rat Dog show, and at one point, Bobby Weir said they have some special guests joining the band. It was Hanson. They kicked ass. Really talented.

Pretty good. It's definitely got a great hook to it.
Speaking of Hanson, has anyone heard Tinted Windows? I haven't, but it's got to have one of the weirdest "supergroup" line-ups I've ever seen: Taylor Hanson (Hanson), James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins), Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne), and Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick).

That was really good. They were always really talented musicians, it's great to see them grown up doing meaningful work.

I seen a few clips and they are ok. Sounded kind of like a newer version of Cheap Trick to me.

You'd be surprised; I think it's on TBS only less than Beastmaster and Tyler Perry's Tyler Perry.

I find it I interesting that people are shocked when they see a former child-star "all grown up".
In this case, Hanson. They were kids when they first hit the scene FIFTEEN years ago. They are the age now (or older) than whatever your favorite band was when you were growing up. Yet, still regarded as a kiddie act.
Same goes for young Hollywood. Everyone from Punky Brewster to Mary Kate & Ashley is almost "not allowed" to grow up. Being attracted to them does not make you a "dirty old man".
TINTED WINDOWS was a misfire though. That record was lazy and demo-like.

Disagree.
The "did they actually write this?", "hot chick drummer", "their fans don't even know who the Blues Brothers are" comments are the kind of thing I was referring to. As if.... the members of Hanson (and their fans) are children.

I asked if they wrote the song simply because I didnt know. i didnt know if they wrote any of those songs, even the ones from a long time ago. It had nothing to do with it being a kiddie act.
