If I was that young cop I'd be fucking embarrassed to make that arrest. What ever happened to getting a good laugh by breaking it up and watching them run to their cars as they put their clothes back on. That cop has to be a homo and surely a hypocrite. These are the charges, so minor, that cops should let fly and just scare people so they don't do it again. Now they're both marked forever bc this guy had to be golden boy cop. If adultery is really a crime (which I can't believe is, and wonder how many states have this on the books), the spouse should be the only one to decide if they want to press charges, not a cop.

They were having sex on a picnic table, within view of a playground, in a crowded park at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. They probably threw the adultery charge in there because they WERE trying to bust her balls as much as possible because she deserved it.

As someone who once had his four year old daughter find a condom on the top of a playground slide once they're lucky I wasn't there because the cops would have found two bloody and unconscious people when they showed up.

Can't speak for all, but I wasn't questioning her arrest for "lewdness", or whatever charge... just the charge of "Adultery" by the cop.

I agree. 5 p.m. on a Friday afternoon, in a public playground within sight of parents and children is despicable, and she deserves 90 days, and the $500 fine, or whatever the judge decides is appropriate for the crime.

But the law should leave her choice of partner out of this. It has nothing to do with the crime, and/or her punishment.
