Someone did an article a few weeks back about how certain movies from the 80's and 90's would be impossible to remake because of the leaps in technology.

For example, Pump up the Volume would be incredibly hard to remake and keep it's soul intact.

Pump Up The Volume was my favorite movie forever. I fucking loved that movie.

I agree. It's a perfect movie, but there is no way you can remake it now and keep it believable. It would turn into some Gossip Girls/Hackers/Wargames shit.
