Agreed - Maybe it's too hard to grasp. Or, perhaps it's simply that nearly every sequel is bad enough to fall on its own. The special sequel answers the call of this question: Bad enough to kill the original.

One that may fit is Airplane II: The Sequel. However, kind of like my position about Friday the 13th, it could just be that by the time I caught Airplane II, not only was it shite, but I reflected back to how goofy the OG was. Some good schtick . . . but really?

This is true but then the longest running bit in radio would end and who wants that??
You know, I would agree with that but Opie has really changed over the years not to the detriment of his show. He's kept his edge but has become more of a human guy with kids etc. OnA is still the other best show on radio.
I don't see why Fez moving on with his outside life would be anything but good for him and the show.
