I wish to god it was. While almost everything Ant says pisses me off (and I happen to be a pretty right wing republican), I don't think he is actually retarded.

What he is, is a self-medicating major depressive who would love it if the whole world was in as much agony as he is.

He is also somewhat lacking as a comedic mind. Mean spiritedness is easy to come by. You can see it being perpetrated by 6 year olds in school yards. It doesn't take intelligence to insult. A GREAT comedic mind such as Ronnie B doesn't need to go there. He can work in a subtle manner. I mean really, where is the mental effort in pointing out that a fat person is fat or an ugly person is ugly?

I don't agree with Ant's politics and racism (but it's still funny to me) but he cracks me up. He has a lot of talent, is great with voices and is very funny. Ron is amusing and that's it. He can get a smile out of me at most, but he is talented at hosting a show and at interviews.

Wow, I gotta say I'm real surprised by the demeanor of this board. I was expecting at least a few of you guys to call me an A-hole; but things around here are very civilized and cerebral. Well, I appreciate the fact that we can disagree. Furthermore, I will admit that at times, the O and A show can be very funny, I guess after 10 years of listening I'm just a little burnt out by the predictability and their absolute refusal to ever take the high road. Would the show be so bad if they just once, took the human side. They've often remarked how they feel like absolute shit about many of the things they do. Would they really suck or lose fans if they let a little bit of the human side out?
