I was thinking this the other day when I heard a replay of the time he was mocking the guy who called in and said he was an MMA fighter and that he had done time and that blah blah vblah.

Fez is tooling all over the guy making up lyrics to the " I'm Too Sex " song.

That was awesome when Fez would stick up for himself instead of being a punching bag or sulking sissy.

Angry Fez is annoying. He has three comebacks and just talks over callers like Jim Norton. I'd personally prefer Didn't-Survive-His-Third-Cardiac Fez.

He sounded like a rude asshole today. I've been on Fez' side for a while, but he's making for some annoying radio. A caller called up and said he was the customer and he wasn't happy, I forget what Fez' exact response was but it was something like "fuck you, I'm right". I pay my $13 a month, I even paid extra for High Voltage when O/A started. If I'm paying to hear a show, I don't want to hear some grown ass man have anxiety attacks, panic attacks, and cry all the time. His secret shit is old, his crying is old, and his whole act is old. I'd rather hear 4 hours of RBI. Bring back ESD and the Board Gossip type bits, and get Fez some help or get him out.

Then don't pay, cancel your subscription, find Dave on whatever Jersey radio station he winds up on doing overnights spinning old Zeppelin tunes with the one bit an hour allotment they give him and enjoy.

I love any Fez...even crybaby Fez. He's a unique personality. I just wish he'd direct some of that anger at Ron. Ron constantly makes these little comments to and about Fez and he is silent. You know at this point, Fez must be irate. If angry Fez continues to flourish, an on air fight is inevetable.

Norton-Hughes part II.

It'd be great radio if Ron ever got a guest host to fill in for him who was a female. Fez would go off on her.

I love Ron and he's obviously the point person on the show but to me it would not be the same w/o Fez.

He may only chime in for 25 minutes of the 4 hour show but I enjoy every bit of it.

It's some of the best radio when Ron breaks Fez's balls.

I couldn't get enough of the " Generic Soccer Announcer " and how Ron kept " making " Fez get back into that character.

Fez's constant screwing up of the character's name and the accent was great.

Yup. I'm convinced a lot for the crying is for the show so, for me, if I could choose between false tears and false rage I'd take crying Fez.

I actually listen to the show as though most of it were scripted. Not that I think the show is written line for line, but that the big narrative arc is always on their minds and plot points are developed on a schedule.

It makes it funnier than it already is AND it turns the zaniness into brilliance.

so right! I give Ron a loy of credit for suppoting his friend, but it really is time fo Fez to go away. Ron and Dave show should be what we should be listening too!

I thought Dave was good on the show but he's no Fez ( regardless of how much less her interacts on the show now than he used to ).

It may seem like the shows been Ron & anybody other than Fez for the last few years but it would not continue as a Ron & Dave show.

Fez has a running gimmick that's been there all along and Dave is, I hate to say it, like a version of Sal/Richard from Stern.

Sure he's funnier, in my opinion, than those 2 asshats but some of his antics remind me too much of them.

its the Ron and Fez show. Not Ron and Dave. As far as the caller saying he's the customer, I heard that Guy and the caller was a fucking douchebag. I pay for it too and when I don't like what I hear I turn to one of the other 200 channels I pay for.
It amazes me on this board how Ron force feed us Dave and actually made people start to like him. He was never a host and will never be a host. In a fucking instant at anytime he wanted Fez could have ripped up Dave and Dave would have been left studdering and lisping without Ron's backup. Sad he never got really put into check.
I will respect him for leaving on his own terms if your not treated the best at a job u should look to better yourself. Same if u don't like the content of a show, you should move along.

I wouldn't assume to quickly that it will never change.

Ron moved on from Ron Diaz just fine, he can move on from Ron and Fez just fine.

Ron can lead a radio show.

We'll see what Ron does after this contract is up...don't assume too much.

Fez would never get another job in radio after this - who would hire him, and just what would he do when he had to talk?

Fez has lacked confidence for a while. Angry Fez doesn't seem to think about it so he comes in strong. I like him either way, but I wish he had confidence in every discussion. Love you Fezzie!

love every type of Fez.

it's definitely great to hear him standing up to the asshole callers who have nothing to add to the show other than trying to take shots at the Big Cat.

as for the "i pay for this channel" douche: try getting loud in a cop's face and telling him "my taxes pay your salary", and let me know how that goes...

I turned off Ron & Fez today for the first time. Angry Fez is such an unfunny douche. "I don't need advice!" Yes, because you ignore it all. He claims the doctors have not told him not to eat cereal as a night time snack. Sure. Even if true, why would you not seek out information to manage your health issues.

Drunk angry Fez has some humor. Angry Fez is just an angry baby.

I thought I heard that Ron and Fez did get contract extensions a few months ago amidst the Dave asking for more money debacle. If its true, it says volumes that Ronnie would resign with Fez as cohost and also why couldn't Ronnie have changed the contract to include Dave if he was so integral?

Maybe the contract thing was just conjecture, sadly I don't have the source nor remember when/how I heard it.

I agree Jim. the whole thing is a great dynamic and i don't get why everyone complains about Fezzy. Even when he's crying at least it's interesting. I can't imagine three hours of Ronnie free associating without the occassional "what is this lunatic up to know" to break things up.

I think the whole thing is calculated on some level to produce good entertainment; I'm just not convinced Fez is aware. His pathology may be a fortuitous accident.

I'm sure Ron and Fez, the guys not the show, have had their ups and downs over their career and I doubt anything is happening now that would make Ron want to change things.

If it was a money thing I'm sure Ron is already making more so it's not like he'd feel underappreciated.

Not saying that Ron couldn't branch off but I'd dread that day because I like what I've been hearing for the last 9 or so years even if it has evolved a bit.

Another small bit of the dynamic I picked up when listening to a replay last night was when Fez messed up saying a line about Cameron Diaz and Ron right away was busting his balls about how Fez fumbled the line.

Fez didn't get pissy or pout instead he rolled w/ it and called himself out.

Those are the things I love about the show.

I can't determine if Angry Fez is a bit or not. It it is, he's doing a pretty decent acting job, even if it isn't that funny.

I'll take it, though. Ron and Fez aren't what they were but it's still a damn funny show and Bennington is as strong as ever.

The 2nd pisser-offer (after lady trucker) said it all.. fez didn't hear though...

Ron is masterful at adding fuel to the fire without the victim even knowing it..
(makes for great radio)... same as he did to Franklyn.. and Scotty... good stuff...

One throwaway from Fez ate at me...
His family didn't tell grandma that she was dying?
and she wasn't 'wacky'? (she found out reading hospital bills)

SUE THE DOCTOR FOR OPENING HIS MOUTH TO THEM !
None of the family's business if g-ma doesn't want to tell them...
or if she does want to tell them...

DON'T TELL FEZ...
HIS CARDIOLOGIST CALLED HIS MOM AND DAD TO TELL THEM THE BAD NEWS
ABOUT FEZ'S LAST DAYS... THEY DIDN'T THINK HE COULD HANDLE IT...
SO THEY NEVER TOLD HIM... (CORKY HELPED MAKE THE DECISION NOT TO TELL)

HOW DOES THAT FLY FEZ ?

Unless this happened when Fez was a teenager back in the 1940's..
they did it different back then...

More Fez, more gooder. Even when he's melting down or covering the same ground about whatever neurosis is plaguing him that day, I think the show is that much better when he's conversationally engaged. Kind of a hack statement to make, but Fez is the kind of guy who would be entertaining to me if he was just reading random pages of a phone book. I still miss Dave tremendously, since he was a maniacal force of nature who shared a lot of interests with Ron, but his departure has resulted in Fez being pulled in for most of the show's duration. The very best broadcasts of the show usually involve Fez taking center stage and saying or doing something memorable.
