I know, there's nothing sadder than seeing a band like Molly Hatchet playing at Six Flags. But there are some "old" bands still around that still rock. Two that come to mind are Aerosmith and Cheap Trick.
What are some others?

Aerosmith sold out a long time ago.

Jethro Tull came up to my neck if the woods in a small club like setting. Ian can still rock it. "Thick as a brick"

Grand Funk, of course:)
In 1998, 22 years after they broke up, the 3 original members toured and grossed more money than Marilyn Manson or Smashin' Pumpkins that year...
"That's what they said in the news articles"?
I saw them at the Beacon, Count Basie in Red Bank, and Trump Marina...
They have now split and formed two seperate bands, Grand Funk, and the Mark Farner band, they are still touring...
I love AC/DC and Aerosmith too, more so early Aerosmith, Sick As A Dog, Rats In The Cellar, Last Child, etc...

Add another vote for the Stones and AC/DC. I'll still pay to see these guys as long as they're alive. Absolutely awesome.
