I noticed that as well. They can't really be cutting back on commercials can they? It's great for the listeners but I can't imagine the company would do that.

Word on the street is that O&A stepped up for Dave. They wanted some good faith from Sirius that they intended to keep The Virus strong, and that ensuring that R&F had what they needed was a part of that.

I would think marketing, promotion, and allowing them more freedom to do some entertaining bits would have come before ESD. Also why not go to bat for their own EP? I think the word on the street is making shit up. ESD is totally replaceable by any OA staffer who wanted to go work over on that show.

Yes it is. That protest was to save the OnA show itself. People were outraged about the loss of ESD, because they wanted him to continue to be a part of 202. It's OK that you don't like him. But don't try to pretend that he could have been replaced by anyone from OnA's staff. Maybe some of that staff could do what he did on the producing level, but NONE of them could possibly replace ESD's on air popularity.
