Who's Gonna Be the Ring Announcer?

How about a contest for Big-Ass cardholders to see who gets to be the Ring Announcer for the Night of Fights? I know Sweet Melissa would be a heavy favorite, but I know I'd compete for the spot if given the chance.

If done, I would rather it be contested for by listeners rather that a lottery or something.

Any thoughts?

I think they should have auditions over the phone as opposed to selecting some random person from a stack of cards. They have auditions over the phone anyway; i.e. loudest whistle, loudest dog bark, etc.., so the listeners would already be used to the process. Besides, if they selected them by a lottery, they might get someone that really sucks - and that would be BAD Radio!!

Never underestimate the power of the audition process.
